How the review works.

You submit your company
A short form and your deck. Around ten minutes. Nothing is shared with anyone outside ChaosBio.

Structured review
Your materials are read against a consistent framework covering the science, the development path, the team, the market, and the financing plan. The same questions are asked of every company.
- 03
A written view
The review produces a considered position rather than a form rejection: what is strong, what is unresolved, and what would need to be true for this to be investable.
- 04
You hear back
Either a conversation, or a pass with the actual reasons. A pass that teaches you nothing is a pass not worth sending.
Founder Network
No separate registration.
Submitting your company enrols you in the ChaosBio Founder Network automatically. There is nothing else to sign up for. Founders in the network are the people ChaosBio keeps in touch with about fundraising readiness, introductions, and the questions investors are actually asking.

What stage do you invest at?
Seed and early-stage life sciences: therapeutics, medical devices, digital health, diagnostics, and life sciences infrastructure — research tools, laboratory automation, biomanufacturing, drug development and AI platforms, and scientific software.
Do I need a warm introduction?
No. The submission form is the front door, and it is read the same way regardless of how you arrived.
What should I send?
Your current deck. If the deck is out of date, send it anyway and say so rather than waiting until it is perfect.
Will my materials stay confidential?
Yes. Submissions are private to ChaosBio and are never shared or listed publicly. Please avoid including highly confidential information beyond what is needed to evaluate fit.
How long does it take?
Most submissions receive a first response within a couple of weeks. Complex science sometimes takes longer, and taking longer usually means it is being read carefully.
What if you pass?
You keep the feedback, and the door stays open. Companies are often passed on at one stage and revisited later once a specific question has been answered.
