What ChaosBio is
ChaosBio is a platform, operated by ChaosBio Management LLC, a New York limited liability company, that reviews early-stage life science companies and connects them with a network of investors. Nothing on this site is investment, legal, or tax advice, and using it does not create an advisory or fiduciary relationship.
Not an offer of securities
Nothing on this site — including deal pages, emails, or Journal content — is an offer to sell or a solicitation of an offer to buy any security. Any allocation request submitted through this site is a non-binding indication of interest. It does not constitute a completed investment or guarantee an allocation, and any actual investment is subject to eligibility review, final offering documents, execution of legal agreements, funding, and acceptance by ChaosBio or the applicable investment vehicle.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use this site. If you confirm accredited investor status as part of joining the network or requesting an allocation, you are representing that the information you provide is accurate.
Company submissions
Materials submitted through the company submission form are reviewed by ChaosBio and are not shared or listed publicly. Submitting a company does not obligate ChaosBio to invest, and does not obligate you to accept any terms ChaosBio may propose. You’re responsible for having the right to share whatever you submit — your own materials, or your company’s, with appropriate authorization.
Investor participation
Joining the Investor Network does not obligate you to invest in anything, and does not obligate ChaosBio to send you any particular opportunity. You can unsubscribe from deal communications at any time using the link in those emails.
Acceptable use
Use this site for its intended purpose — evaluating and submitting real investment opportunities, or genuinely considering them. Don’t submit false or misleading information, attempt to access another user’s data, or interfere with the site’s normal operation.
Intellectual property
The content on this site — including the Journal, the investment framework, and the ChaosBio name and logo — belongs to ChaosBio. Materials you submit remain yours; submitting them gives ChaosBio the ability to review and act on them for the purposes described in these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
No warranty
This site is provided as-is. ChaosBio does not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any opportunity presented will meet your investment objectives.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ChaosBio is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site, including any investment decision made after reading or receiving material through it.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of this site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Westchester County, New York, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change materially, the effective date above will be updated.
